The DC-10, an American wide-body jet air tanker, has been utilized as an aerial firefighting unit since 2006. The joint technical venture 10 Tanker Air Carrier operates the converted wide body McDonnell Douglas DC-10 passenger jetliners, which are mostly used to fight wildfires, typically in remote areas. Up to 12,000 US gallons of water or fire retardant can be stored in an external belly-mounted tank on the turbofan-powered aircraft, which can be released in eight seconds. Currently in service are three air tankers with the call signs Tanker 910, Tanker 911, and Tanker 912.

DC 10 stands for McDonnell Douglas DC-10

#dc10
#airtel
#airtank
#fire
#watertank
#dropwater
#waterdropeffects
#fireretardant
#retarder
#wildfire
#califorina
#firefighter
#califorina
#losangeles
#palestine
#aeshes
#forest
#caughtfire
#hollywood
#hollywoodcelebritynews
#hollwoodnewmovies
#losangeles
#USA
#Trump
#Viralvideos
#newvideos
#duckybhai
#sistrology
#rajabfamily
#vlogs
#arshadvlogs
